The Roy T Wells Fund

I am very saddened to say that Roy lost his fight with ALS today.  Roy fought an extremely tough fight against a very debilitating disease.  Roy passed with dignity with his wife by his side and his children close by.

Although deeply saddened by his loss Roy's family is comforted that his suffering is now over and he in heaven looking down on us and enjoying all of the things that the disease took from him here on earth.   

We ask that you keep Roy and all of his family in your prayers as we persevere through this difficult time.  We also thank everyone that has given their time, money, prayers, well wishes and tears.  God bless all of you.

Roy, please know that we all love with everything that we have and you will be missed everyday from now until we join you in heaven.  Tell Grandpop I said hi.

UPDATE:  September 8th, 2008

Because of the amazing person Roy was he requested that when he could no longer use the handicapped van we purchased with your donations that we make sure the van goes to help others in need.  You will be happy to know that the van has been donated to the Greater Philadelphia ALS Association.  It will now help the hundreds of people that have been stricken with this horrible disease.
